After starting his career as an Apprentice Boilermaker in Wodonga, Peter honed his skills in Bathurst, New Zealand and the UK, before returning to Australia. He worked his way up from Site Supervisor and Project Supervisor roles to a Contract Projects Manager with Nestlé for over a decade. Since 2012, when he purchased RMR Engineering, Peter has been at the helm of the business, putting over 30 years of extensive industry experience in Sales, Marketing, Business, Project Engineering and Project Management to good use.
Tom FitzPatrick is the General Manager of RMR Material Handling and brings over 29 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, and project delivery. With a strong background in change management, process improvement, and Lean Six Sigma practices, Tom leads our operations with a focus on efficiency, safety, and innovation.
Throughout his career, he has delivered large-scale projects, driven cost-saving initiatives, and implemented continuous improvement strategies across multiple industries. His leadership has resulted in major operational gains, including significant reductions in build times, maintenance costs, and production waste.
Tom started his career as a Sheetmetal apprentice and holds a Diploma in Project Management is certified in Frontline Management and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. He is passionate about building high-performance teams and delivering practical, results-driven solutions for our clients.
Adam Manson is the General Manager of RMR’s Laser Division and has been with the company for over four years, playing a key role in establishing and growing the division. With a strong background in fitting, machining, CNC operation, and laser technology, Adam brings both technical expertise and hands-on experience to his leadership role.
Adam began his career in South Brisbane as a fitter and turner, working across CNC machining, gear cutting, gearboxes, and conveyors within the mining and sugar production industries. This gave him a strong technical foundation and an eye for detail that continues to shape his approach to leadership and project delivery.
At RMR, Adam oversaw the setup of the Laser Division, including the installation and layout of machines. He now manages production, programming, and team performance, ensuring projects move smoothly from planning to delivery. He is passionate about solving problems early, meeting client timelines, and providing practical, results-focused solutions.
Adam’s leadership style is hands-on and people-focused. He believes in mentoring his team one-on-one, leading by example, and giving people the tools and confidence to perform at their best. Looking ahead, his focus is on raising awareness of the division’s capabilities, strengthening systems and foundations, and scaling to take on larger national projects.
Outside of work, Adam is an avid endurance athlete. He is a keen road cyclist, a regular participant in local racing, and an ultrarunner who has competed in events such as the Surf Coast Century.
Keith has over 45 years of extensive experience in engineering, mining, and manufacturing. He holds a Bachelor of Business / Accounting, with various other post-graduate qualifications. Keith joined the RMR Group in 2019, and has quickly established himself as an integral part of the team, bringing a wealth of knowledge related to finance, accounting, business administration, reporting and management.
Jemma has over 10-years of industry experience in the areas of Administration, Finance and Accounts within the Engineering, Accounting and Recycling business sectors. She holds various administration and business certificates and joined the RMR Engineering Team in early 2020.
With an exceptionally strong industry and trade background, Craig has almost 30 years’ experience as a Fitter / Machinist / Welder, with almost 25 of those years spent with us at RMR Engineering. Starting his RMR career in Trade, Leadership and Management roles, Craig has progressed through the ranks to his current role as Projects Manager / Estimator.
Neil has a strong trade background, as a Fitter / Machinist / Welder with over 25-years industry experience, progressing to his current role of Manufacturing Supervisor / HSEQ Representative. Neil joined the RMR Engineering Team in early 2013 and is a vital member of our team.
